Our Story

FixMyCar was founded in 2018 in Ann Arbor, Michigan initially to help give more work to car mechanics who travel to customer houses. We first-hand saw that mechanics were earning more and as a result were able to spend more time with their families. Our customers were delighted with the mechanic being able to fix their cars outside their houses and experience transparency and convenience in car repair. One even said “This is the best thing since sliced bread”. We’ve since expanded to Texas in addition to Michigan to serve more customers and make a real difference in the lives of our mechanics and customers.

Car ownership involves you taking care of car maintenance & repair when your car needs it. You have better things to do, which is where we come in. We want you to spend the time elsewhere and let us take care of your car. With our membership offering, we continue to add services in addition to car maintenance & repair so you dont have to worry about taking care of your car.
